TapTap Music Player may offer free trials, lifetime premium access, redeem codes, manual premium access, or optional support purchases.

Payments are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Google Play may provide purchase status information, order status, product identifiers, purchase tokens, country/region indicators, and subscription or entitlement information so we can unlock premium features.

We may store a support ID or device-related entitlement status to help verify premium access, redeem code access, manual access, or support requests.

3. Music Playback, Queue, Skip Tracks, and Notification Access

TapTap Music Player uses Android media session and notification access features to detect active music playback and allow controls such as play, pause, next, previous, reset, restore, seek, queue display, lock screen popup controls, and quick panel controls.

The app may read limited media session information from your device, such as:

Current track title and artist.
Album artwork shown by the active music app.
Playback state, queue position, track duration, and progress.
Basic media queue information when made available by the active music app.

This information is used to display and control playback inside TapTap Music Player. TapTap Music Player does not upload your music files, audio files, playlists, or full local media library to our servers.

4. Volume Key Skip Tracks and Read Aloud Features

TapTap Music Player may include optional advanced features that use volume key behaviour to help you skip to the next or previous track. When enabled, the app may check the current media volume level and compare it with your chosen skip track settings.

TapTap Music Player may also include an optional read aloud feature. When enabled, the app can speak the current volume level or related volume information on your device. This feature is designed to help users understand volume changes without needing to look at the screen.

These features are used locally on your device. TapTap Music Player does not record your voice, listen to your microphone, upload audio from your device, or send your music content to our servers for these features.

5. Local App Preferences

TapTap Music Player may store settings locally on your device, including:

Theme colours, gradients, and wallpaper preferences.
Lock screen popup settings.
Quick panel toggle settings.
Side key guide preferences.
Screen timeout choices.
Skip track volume level choices.
Read aloud on/off status, read aloud volume level, and read aloud output preference.

6. Images and Wallpapers You Select

If you choose an image as a wallpaper or background inside the app, TapTap Music Player may copy or store that selected image locally on your device for app display purposes.

TapTap Music Player does not upload those selected wallpaper images to our servers unless you manually send them to us as part of a support request.
